Teaching is a profession that teaches all other professions...

:( I'm tired of doing this. I know it will benefit me a lot years from now, but, my teachers are not good in distributing works, they are all together in a week. Next week will be our Finals. :( No no no.
I know there's no easy course, but, this really destroys my mind, keep thinking, being a special education major is NOT an easy work. Wooh, my friends say that I am always chilling and not in a rush. I know I can. And I must. :(

But I know I am in the right career. I made the right choice. I know that Special Education is my line. Interested in a challenging and rewarding career in education? My friends who took other courses say that my course isn't nice. But I bet they're wrong. Special education is an incredible opportunity for the right person to make a difference in the lives of students. Special education is a highly focused profession with a lot of responsibility. I know right. I can feel it at present, I'm just a Sophomore student. The law mandates that special education teachers must be licensed, and some states require a master's degree in addition to a bachelor's degree. Because the needs of special education groups differ, expect an education with a strong foundation that covers areas like learning disabilities, speech therapy, child development, and psychology.

A career in education is a special calling for passionate people who love to learn, seek to spread knowledge, and want to make a difference - but this noble pursuit is not limited to just teachers. Principals, assistant principals, department heads, academic deans, and directors of student services are just a few of the many jobs in the education field. Many of these administrators begin as teachers but the education field is a big one with many different opportunities for advancement. No matter your specific focus and career goals, education and teaching degrees can help.

My other half.

1.- Best friends are like diamonds, precious and rare. False friends are like leaves, found everywhere.

2.- Everyone hears what you say. Friends listen to what you say. Best friends listen to what you don't say.

3.- My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me.

4.- Many people will walk in and out of you life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

5.- Best friends are the siblings God forgot to give us.

:)

A Quiet but true person
My Numero Uno
I still can't believe that I had found you. I met my man on the month of May last 2008 I guess. That was also the time when I was out of the real world. It was the first time for my sister and I to go out and meet new friends, luckily he's one of those. :) It was also the time that I was on the on going process of my College life. My steps towards it. :)
Our friendship started with those "kulitan". And then with a text message. Along with that we had chat.. And so on.. :)

Oyeaa. Many got jealous of me, they say I got it all. I KNOW RIGHT. :) I him e. Most of my friends say that my guy is so lucky daw to have me. I said no, I am the one lucky to have him. :)

Your love is all I have, is all I need and is all I’ve ever wanted. Living with the thought that you’ll be beside me, gives me the courage to keep on living… He never failed to make me smile.
Baby, all I know is that I’ve fallen in love with you. You captivate me in such a way that I never experience before. I think I found the man of my dreams and that man is you.
Beautiful flowers grow in the spring, but their beauty can’t compare to thee. The scent of your attraction gets me high, and I know I can have you by my side. Your eyes can be compared to the moon and I know I’ll have you soon. Our love will always be, when I have you right besides me…
Be in love with someone who deserves it. That's the best lesson I had learned when I met you.
I had never experienced this strange feelings before until you came. I will never let you go. There are problems that comes our way. But I'm sure I'll stay.

I had loved so many but only you had stayed. This feeling was really insane. I bet reality just tells me to grow up like one matured lady. My patience was tested. My faith was tested. I had experienced almost all with you baby. Quarrels, problems, ups, and downs. You're even there to help me most of the time. Those efforts. I mean tiring efforts. Ohh goodness! I'm sorry for all those things that I did that you don't like.
I will always love you.

Today was a great day. A practice for my future career. :) I really had fun volunteering in that activity. A fashion expo of those special child. I really admire how Mrs. Eleonor brought her child up with down syndrome. And I saluteo to those parents who continue to support their sons and daughters with special needs. :) In many ways they are really special. Jessica touched my heart. :) When she first saw me, she said Iloveyou. :)
It was a great thing. It was a great experience to be with them!

Field Study 1.

My first semester of being a sophomore student made opened to lots of new things in my environment and as well as in my chosen field. I had lots of experiences during my Field study 1 observation experience. At first, I don’t feel comfortable moving in a Junior Prep classroom due I and my partner thought that e are just a source of distraction among the kids of the Junior Prep St. Scholastica. But when Mrs. Delos Santos asked me and Gareth to help her out in managing the class, I felt like a whole teacher in me. I am so happy when the children started to be close to me and call me as “ate” or teacher. I told myself that after 10 years from now, I’m sure I’ll be a good teacher like Mrs. Delos Santos. I had discovered lots of teaching strategies from Mrs. Delos Santos, as well as the kids. No doubt, children are most of the time annoying. They will question you lots of things and demand most of the time. They are the best attention seekers. They always wanted to be noticted and cared. I missed my sister during the time I observe them. It seems that they are all my little sisters.
My best experience during my observation hours is when Kimiko, the Japanese kid from St. Scholastica was hit in her face; she rushed to me and cried. I carried her as if she was my baby. I brought her to the clinic and applied some ice in the infected area. I love that day. As if, I have a little sister. She was very cute and sweet. She holds my hand while walking and smiled at me. One of the most unforgettable moments also was when Maggie asked me to change her shirt. She gave me her powder and shirt. I removed her shirt, applied powder all over her body and put her shirt on. She smiled at me and thanked me. It was a pleasure to take care of those little darlings. The time when Mrs. Delos Santos asked I and my partner to teach those fast learners, it was also one of the best moments I had. I felt good that time. I can feel the pressure within me. I love teaching them. They make me laugh. Those simple “Thank You” from them makes my heart grow fonder and love kids even more. I really do love kids! They are my stress relievers. I can smile without any doubt when they make silly things inside the classroom.
During that best moment, the way on my parents brought me up is my motivation. I guided those kids like my mom guide me. My skills in controlling those unnecessary behaviors are the one mostly used. My patience in dealing with those silly kids is also tested. Most of the time, they fight with each other, I do some interrogations with them, the asking of questions. I love talking to them even if sometimes I can’t understand them.
I felt great. I felt I had experienced a lot with those 17 hours of observation. I know, that job of observing them will help me a lot in the future. It is good that at this point of time; we already had some exposures of teaching and aiding teachers. As of now, even if I get irritated because of my Field Study 1, I want to have more hours of it. I get irritated because, this semester we were really so busy, almost everyday all of the subjects has paper works to accomplish. And that made me feel like hell. My free time are used, instead that I will do my home works and projects during free time. I spend my time with those little kids. But now, IT’S WORTH IT!
Those experiences made me discover lots of new things in handling a class in the future. I KNOW IT WILL HELP ME A LOT. It was training for me. Those simple exposures will help me to be developed into a great teacher someday. Handling those normal kids are not an easy task. What more if I am already in my practice. Those special children are 3x or harder to handle than them. But I guess I’ll have more patience in dealing with those special children because I know that they are exceptional. Unlike those in the general classroom setting, I may hate them for acting such because most of the time they just make alibis if they get bored in doing their activities.
