Puerto Galera 2012

The beautiful blue sky and the blue water. I never thought that there's a place like "The Beach" here in the Philippines. It was really nice. :)

Played in the sand, this is where I got my rashes. :p

(Roaming around the beach, bonding)
(Mom, wearing the dirty white cover up and the printed shorts)
(I, wearing a polkadotted top, red panty and aeropostale blueshorts)

Summer is LOVE, even if I have summer classes.

With my Best MOM! :) We went to Puerto Galera to celebrate her birthday. We stayed there for 2 days and 1 night. May 5 to May 6. It's a breath taking experience with my mom and sister.

With my one and only sister :)

I just love to watch the beach. :)

(H&M coat, printed tube dress which I turned into a blouse, I just tucked it in, Levi's shorts and Cotton On sunnies, and a pair of orange havaianas, black turban from simple joys)

I don't want to show my flesh out, I'm not yet in the beach, kaya I wore this coat. HAHA! Conservative eh.
Batangas Terminal. :)

The love of my life. :)

Summer love.

Parasailing <3

The Beach. :)

I know I'm fat. :)

(Accessories Turban from simplejoys, black corset, long skirt with polka dots)
(Swirl dress)

Night BUM at Puerto, we went out kase many people told us that in Puerto, it's like Bora,  it has a party every night, when we went out andami nga tao, all of them are having fun, ginebra san miguel was there to sponsor the night, there was a party. :) Gay shows, poi dance. :)

I so love this woman. <3 Happy Birthday MOM! Waiting for her birthday salubong. :)

Heyyyo sis. <3

I was really screamin'. Ako na maarte. Sorry ha. Kase mainet eh and naiisip ko pag dumikit sakin tong apoy na to sunog talaga ko. :)

Last day in Puerto, the morning before we went home :)

Mga oras na malabo pa yung sea water, pero luminaw din siya. :)

Kaya ako nagka-allergies :)

OTW home. :)

Puerto Galera adventure was fun, mas longer sana kaso may summer class eh. :( Ayoko mag absent.

My article that was published in st scho :)

Being someone for somebody voluntarily is a fulfilling action that can lift up your heart. “For the Kids (FTK) 2012” was really a nice whole day experience to boost our talents and skills in handling children of different disabilities. Being a L.O.V.E. volunteer has been such a great opportunity for many college students from La Salle and other different universities around Manila. SPED Olympics just happens once a year, a time when we share laughter, fun, games, food, and company with different children. I can say that being a volunteer is a very big responsibility. I was paired with another volunteer and we were assigned to supervise one special child. There was bonding established among the volunteers. We met new friends and new families. People from La Salle were very accommodating and they welcomed us with ease and comfort without any feeling of shyness.
Handling children was one of the thrills of the FTK. It is not hard to handle a child, we all know that, especially if they have special needs, I told myself that if I were the only one who handled the child, I wouldn't survived it. He's too strong. At first, me and my partner Ked had no problem with the child. He was easy to handle but when the tantrums came, we couldn’t stop him! He didn't want to get off the microphone. He even peed in his pants. I didn't know what to do, but then, my partner was there to help me as well as the father of the child. My idea of getting the child off the stage and the microphone was not good. He was really unstoppable. Actually we were not able to finish all 3 games, just 1 game.
But every FTK volunteer has the end goal of making their child happy. Making them enjoy basking and playing in the sun. I was really sun burned but then everytime I see my child smiling, my heart also smiles. My partner once asked me if I am tired and I told him "No" even though I had been standing with my child for an hour. I was just watching over him. My partner gave up, he rested for quite sometime for he has heart problems. My partner is not a SPED major, but then, his heart was really for the kids. During FTK, I saw the passion, the zeal that every teacher must have. For the Kids (FTK) 2012 was really a blast! It was a very successful event where everyone enjoyed, especially the kids. We learned a lot from them too!

Alexia Jewel Leonor, the author (2nd from left) with some SSC Educ students who volunteered for the FTK
FTK 2012 was really a day for the kids, when they smile and have a break from their usual routine activities. Our desire to make the kids happy really made them happy. We're all successful in painting smiles  in the kids’ faces that day. That Sunday was one of the most unforgettable Sundays that ever happened to me and I'm sure that it was also a memorable experience for the other volunteers. As Scholasticans, we are always very willing and motivated to lend a hand to every kid. Their love for kids was clearly seen as the Education majors of St. Scholastica's College gave a hand to every child at FTK 2012.

God is with us..

I am just a human, I make mistakes, I can be rude sometimes, I violate some rules, I make mistakes.. I once made a mistake in my life, but i never regreted it, for I faced my consequences with a smile and with a fight, I looked at it in a positive way, yeah, at first, I was really upset, for it was a break in the original.
But God taught me to handle it with care and love.. God planned this for me to learn and realize things. I turned out to be a great discovery for me, the discovery of the real world and my real self.
I experienced to live with those kids who are in the bare standard of living, I realized my blessings. I realized those money that I wasted for my own satisfaction.
God is good all the time. :)

My Debut Party. The celebration of my 18th birthday. It was characterized by excitement. :) My morning was started by the people roaming around the unit. Busy silang lahat tas ginising nila ko para maligo na daw kami kasi we need to go to the mall pa to buy some stuffs! :) I was sooo tired. After having ur nails done in the encarnacion group of salon, we went to landmark and sm makati. After that we rushed up home to take a bath and have my make up na. I was soo tired that time. At around 6:00 I was done with my hair and make up. After that I had my photoshoot here in Tivoli. :) My tiredness was all gone since I love posing infront of my photgraher. I was so vain. :) I even made a split in the parking area wearing my heavy gown. :D HAHA!
Then mom and dad and my sister came. I was so complete to see my mom and dad and dea beside me. After that, at 8:00, I went up, according to my dad, the party will start na. I was like so nervous and I don't know why. :) HAHA! I was excited. Thanks talaga sa pumunta nabuhay ang party ko. Konti lang naman guests ko e but then you all made me all happy! :)
